Procter&Gamble says remodels activities, stays in Russia

MOSCOW, Apr 21 (PRIME) -- Consumer goods maker Procter&Gamble (P&G), has remodeled its operating activities in Russia and continues to work in the country, a spokesperson for the Eastern European division told PRIME on Thursday.

"P&G has adapted and will continue to adapt its business in line with the constantly changing situation,” the official said.

“We have remodeled our operating activities in Russia, reducing our product range significantly to focus on the daily essentials for health, hygiene and personal care, stopped new capital investment and have suspended all media, advertisement and promotion activities."

Reuters reported earlier on Thursday citing a company report, that it might not be able to continue business in the country due to sanctions and issues with supplies and monetary and lending rules.
